What you see as an act of cowardice may not be perceived as such by others. Anguish in its true sense will take place only in those individuals who see things on the surface only and make sudden and premature decisions based on what their emotions dictate. They do not dare to dig deeper into the murky waters to try to find reasoning and accept the obvious as just that, without making assumtions or judgements. Either way, do not concern yourself with others as they all have different perceptions and strategies to deal with them. And making decisions for yourself is never an act of cowardice, but rather an act of courage to stand up for what is best for you, and an act of survival which we all have in us. Seeking forgiveness is therefore irrelevant when it comes to others. It is you who need to forgive yourself for asking such a question and seeing your act as an act of cowardice. Not many are willing to surrender their egos and come to that level of accepting the weakenesses they have. Yours is a true act of wisdom, bravery and courage. Who would know that just one line can be such a powerful introspective tool into our own minds? Thank you.
