I have lots of spots on my face from picking on pimples I should have left alone, and some brown patches, also the apple of my cheek (right where the bone is) is always bright red!

Lots of spas with lots of facials, but I don't want to make my skin tone worse. Any good spas to help w/ these issues in NYC? Help me out, NY Gals!

There are so many lotions who claim to even out skin tone, reduce redness, etc. But which really do work??

Anyone has been through this?

I've tried to apply for a phone w/ them and other carriers but because of my credit they want like $250-$500 to open an account!

If you walk in with an Iphone, though, will that automatically make them approve you for a contract without that huge fee?

I have a full-time job (40 hrs a week) but someone who knows me wants to hire me to be her Pers. Asst. She only wants me to work like 3 days a week, 2 hours a day (6 hours) but since she owns her own business, she said she needs a 1099? What is this form? I've never heard of it and don't want to sign something I'm not sure of.

Will it hurt me at tax time? I'm single, no kids of my own, so I only get back like $600 in tax time, but still. I don't want to have to pay and/or lose those $600! What to do?

Has anyone noticed there's no Section 9? Any ideas why?

I work with a 10yr. old boy as a tutor. He's in fourth grade and cannot focus AT ALL! He is distracted by anything around him and when I get stern and force him to only look at his work, he seems to fall asleep at the table and ignores me. He pouts and moans about his work and literally takes 2 hours to do one page of work.

Is this ADHD because he's not hyper, he's kind of just of in his own world every day. He looks blank most of the time.

Any idea how I could help him and any vitamins or herbs Mom can give him?
