Tutoring for ADD Child??

3 days a week, 2 hours a day.

Plus picking him up, walking to library, and taking him home.

$65.

Is that a good price or should I raise it? What's fair?

Update:

$65 total price!!

I think its totally unfair.

My son is 8 and ADHD we have a tutor for him three days a week private and two days a week through the school. The girl that tutors him picks him up from school and works with him for 2 hours then we pick him up from her home. We checked around and in our area it is an average of $15 an hour for a personal tutor so we pay her $90 a week for just the tutoring and throw in an extra $20 to help out with the snack she gives him and her time for picking him up. The best thing to do is check around your area and see what the normal charge is and go from there if you are lower then raise it and if it is the same as everyone else then keep it at that.

Hi is the price $65 for the week or per day? Are you driving the child anywhere or just walking? What subjects are you tutoring the child and how old is the child?

I looked into tutoring for my son who has a learning disability and they charged $40.00 per hour! They recommended at least two days per week for one hour each day which would have been $80.00 per week. This was a place called ClubZ tutoring.

I think 2 hour sessions might seem long. Maybe if there is a 20 minute break in there somewhere it would be good.
