Babysitting job-how much 2 charge??

My Rates

1-2 kids ~ $10.00/hour

Each additional child ~ $1.25/hour

*When you are babysitting a baby under 10 months old, you should ask to be paid a bit more than your regular charge, since you must give more attention, change the baby, feed the baby, and put the baby to bed.

As much as it would take to keep you coming back lol! I say 10 an hour, at the minimum. The last time I babysat (in highschool I think) I was watching the brattiest kids, their parents were well off, there was a snotty ten year old and two four year old screaming twins, and he paid me six dollars an hour, so I tore it up and said no thank you, goodbye! This was AFTER he had me make him lunch!

I think a flat rate of $40 per day is reasonable if you are doing all you do. One thing to remind yourself you are not paying taxes on this money so if you were doing this for a company. You might make a lot more per hour but reality is that they will take taxes out & you will probably make the same or even less.

you sound like a nanny not a babysitter if you are doing all of that. i would charge at least 10 an hour or a set price of like a 100 per week considering you have to do all of that
