Will AT&T approve everyone for a contract as long as they have an Iphone?
I've tried to apply for a phone w/ them and other carriers but because of my credit they want like $250-$500 to open an account!
If you walk in with an Iphone, though, will that automatically make them approve you for a contract without that huge fee?

The credit check is implimented to ensure that you are financially stable and will be able to pay your bill each month. It is unimportant if you have a phone with you or not because you must pay for your phone upfront. Apple no longer required a prepaid option for the iphone, so yes, if you fail the credit check, you will be required to make a deposit. The amount of the deposit depends on how bad your credit is.
Sorry, and enjoy your phone if they let u!

Then you will have to pay $250-$500 deposit. A credit check is used before activating the iPhone. To avoid paying a deposit, you can always go on prepaid. Except this current iPhone that is coming out doesn't work on prepaid, but the old iPhone works on prepaid.

The point of the credit check is not to see if you can pay for the phone since you have to pay that in full. the point is that they know you can financially pay your bill every month
