Why didn't I get the 5 points back?

You are supposed to get 5 points back and since you didn't, try contacting Yahoo Answers Team and letting them know what happened. But give it enough time for you to be credited with the 5 points. Has it been more than 24 hours? If not, give it a day or two and then if you are not credited back write to Yahoo Answers Team and explain to them what happened. They will listen and they will respond.

The point count is way off and lags real time by a lot. For example, I have over 70 best answers and it only shows me (on the bar graph) at 60. My answers is short some too as well as my total number of answers. I have no idea if my point count is accurate, but I am beginning to wonder if I will ever get to level 4.

A lot of misreportings have been happening in Y!Answers even if it is now out of 'beta'. Report this to the y!a team and see if you can get those points back.
