Muslim's don't want ppl to think of them as terrorists...BUT.. well...?

Remeber the big thing that happened a couple of months ago in Denmark? About the cartoon making fun of Islam? Why do they all go flying off the handle and get all violent and crazy? I see ppl making fun of all the other religions on TV and magazines every day. On SNL they had the church lady and were making fun of christians, on family guy they made fun of the pope on 1 episode. On the Simpson's they make fun of EVERYBODY!! I don't see any of theese other religous groups marching down the streets with death threats on signs and burning embassies and beating ppl up!! Am I the only person who feels the same way?? Can't they be civil? are they still living the stone age? I know they are not ALL like that.. but.... what about the rest of them? they have the loudest voice, it's what ppl notice the most.

Muslims tend to take honor and reputation very seriously.

I remember I worked with these two Muslim brothers, Mohammed and Usman. Usman got drunk one night, and ended up in a bar fight with a redneck. The redneck punched him in the face and busted his lip. Mohammed was literally crying and hugging Usman, kissing the top of his drunk brother's head, so upset that Usman's blood had been spilled. He vowed to kill the redneck guy for spilling his family's blood. A week later, Mohammed went back to that bar, and shot the redneck. He killed him for busting his brother's lip and "shaming" his family.

    it's just their nature

You may know the story of the frog and the scorpion. A scorpion wanted to cross a swift river, and asked a frog to carry him on his back. The frog asked "How do I know that you won't sting and kill me as soon as you get on my back?" "Well," answered the scorpion, who was good with words when he wanted something, "then I wouldn't be able to get across the river." "Well," said the frog, "then how do I know that you won't sting and kill me as soon as we're across the river?" "Oh," said the scorpion, "because I'll be so grateful for the ride, why would I want to kill you then?" This convinced the frog so he let the scorpion on his back, and began swimming across the river. They were about 2/3 of the way across the raging river, when, to his great surprise, the frog felt a painful sting and looked around to see the scorpion pulling his stinger out of the frog's back. Very soon, the frog felt himself becoming numb. Just before he was completely paralyzed, the frog had the breath to ask "Why?"

"It's just my nature," said the scorpion, as they both sank into the river and drowned. "It's just my nature."

Yes, but if you provide proof to their actions here they complain and report you. I have not had one person say one thing to change my mind about islam. My personal opinions on islam have been violated here because the truth is offensive to some and they attack me instead of trying to provide proof that they arent what most people accuse them of being.

yhea sometimes it makes it hard to justify are troops over there trying to save them when they want to kill everybody else, and even themselves, but there has to be allot of them that are worth saving.

Hopefully we are doing them some good and they are grateful for it.

You're damn right lad. They use any slant on their religion to take it personally which usually ends up in violence. I consider Muslims to be the most racist people on earth.

That still doesn't make them all terrorists.
