With the new NHL CBA in place, will there be room for more Canadian teams in the NHL ?

Even with the new CBA agreement I do not see the NHL expanding any time soon. A canadian city can only hope thast an American city will fold its team such as Pittsburgh. If that is the case I believe the franchise would move to a US western city such as Seattle or Portland before it would go to a Canadian city. Sorry!! but this is my opinion.

I'd hope a Canadian city would get another team, but the only place I could think that might ever eventually get one would be Winnapeg. I live in Halifax & it would be Great to see one here, but we just wouldn't have the crowd or statium to support it yet.
We just need more rumors floating around to get the talk up about getting another team. To have Crosby & Fleury back in Canada would be awesum!

Yes, but i am not sure that there is enough talent yet. Look at the thrashers first year. they got only 14 points. They should wait until teams are averaging fifty shots a game, so that the new team wont get blown away.

Only if an existing team relocates to a Canadian city; I don't think that any new teams will be added (there are too many teams already).
