Sorry don't agree. Ok, I admit he is Eddie Everywhere, but isn't it just so typical of us Aussies to try and cut someone down who is obviously excelling in his career?

I mean, come on, the dude started a pissy little career in the media and now he runs a network!!!! I say good on him and people who "hate" him should just get over it.

And what do you mean about the miner poaching being shameful? Quite frankly I was elated that Nine beat Seven after the shameful antics of the Seven media team. If it's not Princess Naomi confirming to all that she is the biggest joke in journalism, it is bloody Kochie jumping in the back of one of the ambulaces with the miners as they are trying to take off!!!!

I disagree that Eddie has had everything "handled (sic) to him on a platter". I would say he has worked bloody hard for it and is now reaping the rewards with a prestigious position and insanely healthly bank balance.

Whatever about the afl team comments - clearly not a Magpies supporter, but hardly a valid reason to dislike him!

The Logies have rarely been any good - long before Eddie's time. The only time they got it right was when Denton hosted it.

I say leave him alone and let's get out of this Tall Poppy Syndrome.
