Did anyone attend the Brisbane Pride Day on the Saturday the 16th? What did you think about it?

I went and worked as a volunteer for four hours but then I had to leave to go see Dame Edna - I wish I could have been there all day!

The parade coming in was the biggest rush of all - hearing the Dykes on Bikes and seeing all the proud people coming through was awesome.

Currently I'm renting a unit in Queensland Australia. I'm not sure if anyone is up to date with the rental laws or not for this area. I've tried the rta website but to no avail.

So the hot water system in the unit we are renting died on the weekend. It was a 125L system (small to begin with). It got replaced yesterday and they put in a 50L system. How stingy is that?

There are four people in this unit and we have 50L of hot water. It is also going to cost more electricity because it has to reheat it more often.

I'm wondering if we have a right to complain about this. The unit owner is stingy and things that have had to be replaced previously have just been a cheap fix.

Ok so each morning I wake up sneezing. I go to bed fine but from anytime between 2am to 7am I will just wake up in fits of sneezing.

My room is clean. There are no trees that I am allergic to around the place. It's not a cold - I've had this since summer this year.

Just before I sneeze I wake up and feel a cold sensation up my nose. Other times I wake up and just sneeze without feeling it's coming.

It's just clear gunk that comes out quite freely - sometimes I don't even have time to grab a tissue.

Does anyone know what this is or anyways to reduce my chance of sneezing? My mother suggested putting olive oil under my nose before I go to bed but then I toss adn turn so it's just going to wipe off anyway.

Morning. My sister is 7 weeks pregnant. We are hoping she can carry to term since she has health problems. I want to help her when/if the baby comes along. What is the best way to do that?

At the moment I'm putting $20 a pay away to help her buy nappies etc cause I figure she'll get toys and clothes etc at the baby shower. Is this a good idea? Is there something more dire than nappies/wipes etc that baby needs when born? I figure food won't be needed for a while.

I don't want her to be offended when I give these things to her. I'm gay and in no way inclined to have a baby so I want to help my sisters when they have theirs. Is this wrong?

So my partner of 31/2 years wants to try sausage. She has been gay since she was 16 and is now 24. What do I do? Has anyone had this happen before? Do you think it might be a curiosity thing?

We just got a strap on but haven't used it because this came up just after we got it - I didn't know she was having these issues when we got it. Now I want to throw it out.

Hi. We haven't seen the third season in Australia but I got the dvd set for Christmas. I have just finished watching it. What did everyone think of the way they handled Dana's death? I love her and was expecting just the saddest scene/s in relation to her death and aftermath and it just didn't make me cry like I thought I would. I thought her death was very underrated. The only time I found really sad was when they let go of her ashes. It was just a bizarre way of handling a death scenario for me.

I was just wondering because the media has said that it is attracting worldwide attention but I haven't heard about where. Has anyone also heard about the Journalist, Richard Carleton, who died while doing his story there yesterday?
