My father is suffering from this disease... Anyone who knows s.o. suffering or a neurology doctor can tell me sth about yhe ways of treatment and should's and shouldnt's ?!.

What your father's got is ISCHEMIC CEREBROVASCULAR DISEASE. that is.. the blood vessels in his brain have narrowed down due to plaque in the blood vessels. So blood cant move properly and this can lead to less blood supply and oxygen to certain parts of the brain, and can cause a brain attack or what is called a Stroke. Very similar in concept to heart attack. He should listen to his doc and do whatever he says. Check out this link

Hi, Your dad should try and make sure he always has a phone with him and try and keep away from dangerous pass times in case he has an attack. He should eat a low fat diet to reduce the risk of stroke. If he feels unwell seek immediate medical attention and dont drive as this could cause a major accident.These attacks are the body warning you about the risk of a stroke so make sure he respects his body, does some light excercise and has regular check ups.
