Can you have a mid life crisis at 36 or do you think that person is just being selfish?

A crisis like that can occur at any age. Been there!

It is possible but doubtful. 36 really isn't very old. Unfortunately the term mid life crisis is so common, a lot of people choose to use it to justify their behavior when really it is as you say just them being selfish. If they really think it is a mid life crisis then they should be in therapy and dealing with their problem, not trying to justify their actions.

Yes, you can have a crisis at any age, it just sounds better to add mid-life. And you are probably not selfish, but just going thru rough times like everyone does.....

I had a real good think of where my life is going at 37. It is not being selfish it is taking a stock of what there life means. It is best to let them make their minds up about things.Otherwise you could be seen as being in the way and and so a problem. Help them all you can but don't be a mug.

Yes, definitely...you can and some do even earlier in thier thirties. However, most of these crises are generally rooted in selfishness anyway, even if it's just a refusal to solve the problems that cause the crisis.

Well, I am in my late forty's and have not have a mid-life crisis yet. It might be coming, but then again, I do not believe everyone has them. I am happy and content with my life.

36 is exactly mid-life for most people, to answer the second part of your question it depends on what the person is doing.

**** if there is a such thing a a mid life crisis please tell me about it. when **** go down in your life it is a crisis being that some had died did your wrong or things are falling apart for what ever reason.
