Gender Equality / fashion Freedom?

Is there a difference between 'Gender equality' and 'Fashion freedom'? Should one exist in favour of the other or are both important?

    Gender equality is, well, all genders, full, trans or not, being treated with equal respect. Fashion freedom is everyone being allowed to dress as they like, such as open crossdressing for both men and women. I beleive both are equally important.
