to put hot sauce in a 4yr olds mouth if he is suspected of fibbing about something? And would your answer be different if he was autistic?

No that is NEVER ok no matter if he's fibbing or not. And same goes for if he was autistic-YOU NEVER DO THAT!!! IT IS CONSIDERED CHILD ABUSE.

It's not child abuse but I definately wouldn't make a habit of doing it. There is usually a reason for a child fibbing, fear of punishment whether real or imagined. If the child is autistic do you think he is doing this on purpose or just to deal with his world.

Hot sauce. that's a new trick. It's better than using soap. IF the kid was autistic, he probably wouldn't speak normal.
