    I am "religious"

i don't want it banned, it's just that Dan Brown is so indecisive and has screwed the plot up so much i can't enjoy it.

The fact that he says Jesus isn't divine only makes me more disgusted.

If millions of people want to read that garbage, (and by the way, it's a rip off of a previous book) that's their business, I don't really care.

I myself don't plan to watch the movie, if I want good fiction there are thousands of other books/movies with a better plot and characters.

However, before you call anyone loony, how would most people react if someone wrote a best seller mocking and critisizing your life style? or for instance homosexuality?

people get so mad when we Christians do stand up against something.

I just saw the Da Vinci Code last night. Honestly, it is quite disappointed. Can't classify as boring but really a little bit boring. The religious should no need worry about it because it is only a commerical movie and no influence at all.

maximum of it became fiction. Many web content have printed articles discrediting "The Da Vinci Code". Granted, there is a few historic data, yet in maximum circumstances, the information is loosely at the same time. case in point, "The Da Vinci Code" makes the declare that the Catholic Church invented the perception in Jesus as God in the process the Council of Nicaea in 325. it is fake. What the Council did became ensure Jesus as God - a perception already held with the aid of maximum Christians of the time. in case you may, watch a practice it is on the history Channel each so often, called "previous The Da Vinci Code". It debunks most of the claims made with the aid of Dan Brown in his e book.

People are missing the big picture(No pun intended). The book is fiction. In the eyes of the Church it's full of heretic, sacrilegous lies. But the point is NOT to spread lies against the Catholic Church. The point is to solve a crime. And the crime is solved precisely because there's a History professor, a Father and a crazy albino monk who believe these lies.

You're right! The church should be happy that people start discussing the life of Jesus - they always complain that religion doesn't have as much influence on people's lifes as it used to have, and now that Jesus is in everybody's head, they don't like it either. What if he was married! It would make him more human and more lovable, that's the way I see it.

everyone forgot to look at the cover that says NOVEL"""""! _FICTION!!!! they didnt give moby dick this much troouble!! ha!!! Jesus came to live as man...feeling what man did emotionally, spiritually and phyically..thirst, hunger, ect. he knew what men lived and died for....why should he stop at marriage? i believe Jewish Men had to marry by a certain age--so why not Jesus?? only one person knows for sure and HE is not on earth..why not kids.?.. and who could ever prove otherwise.... i think it would be a beautiful thing.... MAN TRULY created in Gods image (could this be the third secret of fatima?) bottom line however, its a story not history being changed relax everyone and enjoy the mystery and heart racing Thiller....just like MI3 p.s.---thats a novel-thriller too....
