Does anyone know of a really good African or Jamaican hair braiding salon (or individual) in Milwaukee, WI?

I have decided to wear braids this summer, but I'm new to Milwaukee and would like to know if someone can recommend a talented and reputable salon (or professional) in this area? If you can help me out, I would love to hear from you.

Thank you!

Welcome to the Miltown girl. Ok first of all let me tell you this. Pretty much all of the African hair braiding salons are the same.

The problem with them are when they put the braids in your hair, they do it by wrapping the fake hair around your real hair until it is in a knot and then when you go to take it out, you end up pulling out your hair really bad.

You are better off finding someone who does it in their house or going to a regular shop that does it.

That is, if you want to keep your natural hair.

What kind of braids do you want? Do you want micros? Twists? Or braids to the scalp?
