I don't have paint on my computer anymore.?

Are you sure it's completely gone and not just the icon? or maybe you just lost it off of the start menu? trying going to search and searchin "My Computer" plus all the hidden files and see if it pops up. If it does right click it and move it to your desktop.

My experience has been that the computer manufacturers don't give you a copy of XP with the computer, they install a backup version on the harddrive. Call the 800 number of your computer manufacturer and they will walk you through a system recovery that will re-install all the factory installed files that you got when you purchased it.

try going to 'Contol Panel' > 'Add/Remove Programs' > 'Add/Remove Windows components'.

There, select 'Accessories and Utilities', and click 'Details'.

Then select 'Accessories' and click 'Details'.

There you should find 'Paint' in the list. Check it n click 'Ok' till you go back to original window and then click 'Next' and then 'Ok'.

If this doesn't work, then probably ur OS is corrupt n u have no option but repairing it using the original CD.

Paint sucks. You should invest in Adobe Photoshop.

there is no way to get paint except from Microsoft. it stinks anyway.

if you want to use paintshop pro you can download an older version that never times out. it works on windows 95 thru 2000. it might even work on windows xp but i haven't tied it on that one. paint shop pro is definitely better that irfanview above.
