Why we as common men / women of Indian have to pay heavy Income tax, whereas rich farmers are spared.
Why Rich farmers not taxed on their income since independence?
The answer is simple, most of the politicians are rich farmers or they convert their black money by buying agriculture land and ensure that their income is not taxed.
Are we all not fools? Why are we taken for great ride by asking us to pay via TDS (tax deducted at our source) or self-assessment, when rich politicians can choose not to pay tax by disclosing their income as agricultural.
I think readers of this blog have totally misunderstood my point. I am talking about Politicians who have used agultural income to either hide their income from corrupt practices or landlords who have turned into politicians.
I am not (and not and not) talking about normal poor or middle class farmers. I AM ONLY TALKING ABOUT SUPER RICH GUYS WHO HAVE FOOLED US

damn it ,i never knew that the farmers r rich too!!
anyway depends on how rich they r, like millionares,then i dont care but cmon more than that then some action shud take place!!they r many corporations which play hard to accomodate rules in to the tax dept to avoid paying high taxes,i guess we shud first take care of the corporates and billionares buddy!
i dont oppose ur idea though!!

Indian Farmer should Pay NO TAX...let 0ther PAY..FARMER NEED MORE WEALTH...Leave us alone!
Farmer should not pay TAX..let others PAY the tax, FARMERS make food to feed people. IN my family we are politicans and Farmers..we are proud of our much wealth. NOW you You say must pay tax NO, NO I say..let Others pay our TAX so we can have more Wealth.
