Would your friend lie to you first of all? And what does it matter anyway. Tell this guy that you like him and if he doesn't like you, then oh well. Life is too short to be sitting back when you could just go up and handle it right then and there.

You should definitely believe your friends, and your best-friends, but if your friends lie to you, then they're not your friends.
