How do you get a really nice sheen on slate floors?
I went into a restaurant in San Jose CA and they had the most beautiful slate floors I had ever seen. They had a really great sheen to them I've never seen anywhere else. I was hoping to duplicate it.

You will have to apply a high sheen sealer. They sell it at home depot and lowes
If this doesn't achieve the look, you will have to use polyurathane which will be much harder to work with.

try the high gloss sheen, but clean it strip it and clean with vinger and water then start form there, clean is the key no film , poly is the next solution
