    1. The world's economys (Britland, France, Germany and the US) were linked.

    It also proved Sir Isaac Newton's theory: What goes up must come down. The stock market had been rising ever since the 20s.

    2. It was when the stock market crashed. Technically, it helped the US by creating 'blockades' to prevent something like that from ever happening again. There was a market crash in the 70s and, because of the 'blockades,' nothing extremely bad happened.

    The only thing that really helped the US at that time was WWII, which provided much-needed jobs.

    The great depression happened before World War 2 and was partly due to the disruption to world trade caused by World War 1. It wasn't really overcome until nations started to prepare for World War 2 ,which gave a boost to the economy.

    The great depression at the time did not help the U.S at all!

    Although after a while it did because now at banks they have the (i think it's called) FCDI or the FDCI or something like that the secures your money in the bank.
