Where is GOD when you are hurting?

God does not plan your life or make you hurt. God creates you and sends you to this earth, but He cannot control every little thing that goes on; think of it as a painting when the colors run a little bit--it just can't be helped. God is still there, however, and if you come to Him honestly, He will comfort you through anything that happens to you. I am NOT saying church or Christianity are the right answers for you; most of the people I know who take the most strength from God have a hard time with organized religion. Just remember that you were created with Love, and Love will always be offered to you, unconditionally, through whatever manifestation of God you accept.

Right there hurting with you. Where did you get the idea God was supposed to be all sweetness and nice? He's also the father of loneliness and pain. He makes the sun shine and the rain fall on good and bad alike. He plays no favorites. His tsunamis and hurricanes kill good and bad alike. And EVERYONE dies, even his "beloved son."

What you DO get to choose is your attitude. The price of serenity is acceptance of the way things actually are. The price is letting go of your beliefs and expectations. To quote Lao Tzu:

Empty your mind of all thoughts.

Let your heart be at peace.

Watch the turmoil of beings,

but contemplate their return.

Each separate being in the universe

returns to the common source.

Returning is the source of serenity.

If you don't realize the source,

you stumble in confusion and sorrow.

When you realize where you come from,

you naturally become tolerant,

disinterested, amused,

kindhearted as a grandmother,

dignified as a kind.

Immersed in the wonder of the Tao,

you can deal with whatever life brings you,

and when death comes, you are ready.

God? You mean the Flying Spaghetti Monster?

God is not in our lives to make us happy and feel good. He is all around us to make us reflect and accept his will even if what is happening to us is painful and sometimes not so good. You'll see God the moment you undertsand that this life is just a passage to God and nothing else.

Give your life to God, and yearn to be with him.

God is always with you. If I have not learned anything from my walk with Jesus and God it is that things are always in his time and he will be with you and if you lean on him he will comfort you better than you have ever been comforted before. Just ask him! He is always there and always in your heart, but you have to give your hurts to him completely, no halfsies! He will take care of you! Read you Bible and that will comfort you in his word

He is still there just call on him ,where is your Faith?

Mankind has not yet given birth to God. They are working on it.Why do you think they are working day and day out enthusiastically?

with an attitude like that you will never feel what gods grace can be like, go to church! god is in your heart and only you are able to let him into your life

god was never there in the first place , never will be , he/she is a creation based on fear of death , so its up to us to save ourselves not to depend on something nonexistant to help us , such things are for children(IMAGINARY FRIEND)
