Google Earth, is it normal?

It seems that at least some of the sattelite imageries on Google Earth are at least 3-4 years old. Also, some get blurred. If you've used this otherwise excellent product, please tell me if this behaviour is normal.

Google Earth images have all been taken within the last three years. Not all of the earth has been covered in high resolution images so some areas will be blurry.

I have seen some much older than 3-4 year old. One place near where I lived showed a large store in the contruction phase and the store had been there almost 10 years. There is a site I found that shows when the images were made, but I can't remember. Google earth is a collection of public domain images stitched together from many different satellite sources over many years and resolutions, so yes the behavior is normal.

they'r informaly not aloud to use the up to daye stuff coz of intel other countries could n would get. they clur it on prupose, so yes it is normal. useal pics from today are so high qualitym you can see an image someone sneezing. i heard isreal just put a satlte up that can get a 5 million pixel pic of 30cm of eath's serfice, so that shows how much better it could get if not for that point.
