Last night, when I laid down to sleep, I felt a dark shadow rise over me and my eyes were closed. Warning?

You are not being paranoid. These spirits are real and many people have had these same encounters. However,once you come to appreciate the amount of power that you have over them, you will have absolutely nothing to fear. If you believe in God and are a Christian, no evil spirit can withstand the power of the Name. Just utter these words. "In the Name Of Jesus Christ who liveth, I order you begone forever". I guarantee you, if you say this believing, no evil spirit can withstand you. Bottom line-don't fear them. Once you know they exist, you can destroy them with the Power given to you by Jesus' Name.

I went through the same thing. Saw the shadow. Next day, CD's gone, convertible top slashed Bose system gone. I stuck a light out there athat went on VERY brightly if anyone went near the thing. Like them standing under a spotlight. Then I got a camera kit and installed it using the manual. To heck with the lazy ****! Don't want to get their own stuff. Never happened again. Now, I have a husband. Don't need anything but him. When he's mad, it's bad.

1) You saying your prayers on a regular basis? Make sure that you do.

2) When you say your prayers, are you being sloppy? Make sure you are praying well.

If you are doing the above, then you have been protected from something much worse. Keep your doors locked and the things you value put away. "It is hard for thieves to break into a strong man's house."

Either your eyes were adjusting to the darkness or if you sleep quite close to your car, you may have seen the person's shadow who broke into your car

You need to believe that Jesus was sent from God for our sins, died on the cross rose again and resurrected, and sent the Holy Spirit....not only believe but accept Him for even the devil believes this....Just say something (if you truly believe and accept) like this...."God I believe that you sent your Son to die for my sins and right now Jesus I accept you into my heart, I'm sorry for my sins, now please fill me with Your Holy Spirit"..To stay strong in the Lord Jesus we must read the Bible, pray, and fellowship with other believers. Also, read the Bible and see if what people are telling you (including me) is the truth. The Holy Spirit will bear witness also telling you whether something is from God or not.

If you accepted Jesus into your life you are born into His family and will be resurrected because if you read the Bible He tells us that He will come again and take us all with Him (believers). Pray for your whole family and they will be saved to.

Now for the dark shadow....Say, "I plead the Blood of Jesus Christ". Any time you feel or experience anything that isn't right, or is out of line with God's Word, Plead the Blood of Jesus Christ.

Yes, shadow of doom has possessed you. Happened to a friend of mine last year and he was killed in Iraq less than 2 months later but not befor ebad thinsg happened to he. His wife cheated on him with his best friend, his car was wrecked, his dad died, and then he was killed.

Who knows. It may have been a warning. Sometimes it can be like that, depends on what you believe.
