When is Python 2.5 expected to be released to the public?
Not the alpha or beta versions, a final release version.
That source, which was not Guido (Python's lifetime benevolent dictator) said goal was a final release in May-June (not July) and it is already the end of May, and Python 2.5 alpha 2 just recently came out.
Seems extremely unlikely we will see Python start/complete an entire beta and release candidate cycle in the next one or two months.
Any more credible estimates out there yet?
