I am a 16 year old male, 6'2" and very active. I have 6% body fat, is this bad?

Update:

I heard that under 14% for males is bad. I have a very high metabolism and I eat a lot.

at your age 6% is as low as you want to go - but it is ok

dont go lower though or you will get sick all the time - just not enough reserve to power your immune system

probably 8-9% is a very healthy level

at your age I was 5% at 230 lbs and always had sore throats

now at 21 I am 260 lbs and 8% and a lot healthier for it

Actually I disagree, people should aim to have at least 10-16%. I took nutrition class this year. Also you need body fat for normal brain function, nerves, hormone dev., cells, and metabolism.
