why Brokeback Mountain did not win?

    It was up against a lot of good movies. I liked Brokeback Mountain but I liked Crash as well. It would have been hard to pick. I guess more people went with Crash. Brokeback Mountain did win Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay, so it's not like they went home empty-handed.

    A lot of people are homophobic. Plus, it's just not that good of a movie.

    I think because the

    subject of Crash

    was far more realistic.

    I liked it & I'm not gay,but it probably didn't win cause people don't like gay stories
