Working in a SFX workshop in L.A.. how to go about it?
I have done training in SFX (makeup, prosthetics, sculpting moulding etc...)
However my portfolio has gone missing.
How easy is it to get into a SFX workshop in L.A?
Is L.A an expensive place to live.... and can a New Zealander get a working holiday visa? Or how long can I get a toursit visa for?

LA is a very expensive place to live. There are a lot of FX and prop shops in the area. Its not easy to get in as there is a lot of competition but people are always looking for the best.
