An Allergist in Seoul?
I'm having these crazy allergies, and I'm putting it down to food mixed with Yellow Sand, but I want to see an Allergist in Seoul to run all tests possible so I can eliminate whatever is driving me insane. It's all very well to go to the Skin Doctor, but they just give me some cream, but it doesn't actually get down to what's causing the problems.
Has anybody heard of a good allergist?
Also has anyone been brave enough to try out the 'Allergy Fish' at the JJimJilBang?... They are fish that supposedly eat your atopy.
1 AnswerKorea1 decade agoWhere to buy food colouring and Cream of Tartar in Seoul?
I dont mean to be rude, but I would prefer specific answers, from people who have actually seen it in some particular store.
I couldn't find it at my local E Mart, has anyone seen it at WalMart or Home Plus? Or perhaps some specialty cake store?

1 AnswerOther - Entertainment1 decade agoWhat is the strangest thing you have done in Korea?
Im going to write a book one day about my adventures in Asia, but I wonder what other people get upto?
Any secret little sins, somewhere interesting you have been, something you have done, that you perhaps wouldn't have done under other circumstances?
6 AnswersKorea1 decade agoFigaro and Aero... what was the name of their travel show?
A few years ago, I met two really great guys Figaro and Aero (their english names).
They were in NZ filming for a TV show. Does anyone know what this show was called? It was funny, because later when I met some other Taiwanese people, they said that they had seen me on TV in Taiwan.
What do these guys actually do, I know they sing and dance.. but are they television hosts, or talent?
1 AnswerTaiwan1 decade agoAny tricks to playing Go-stop?
I just learnt how to play Go-stop the other night, but Im thinking that they might be hiding some of the tricks from me?
So yesterday I logged onto hangame.com and played online for a while (and lost 1억) so I think I need some more hints... anyone who can explain it in English? I may have gotten a bit confused with the Korean rules.
It could be my new money making venture haha.

I need to get some canvases, and some acrylic paints.
I live miles away from Hong Dae and arent so keen on getting on the subway carting all my stuff and transferring etc...
So, what are some good quality acrylic paints available in South Korea and does anyone know where I can buy them online, or a website for a company so I can ring them and get them to send me a catalogue, and some paints etc.
Thanks in advance.
2 AnswersKorea1 decade agoBasic monthly costs for living in Vietnam?
Roughly how much is an apartment to rent monthly... and which area of Vietnam would you suggest to live in?
Haven't decided whether or not to work there yet. What sort of options are available to Koreans and New Zealanders?
Thank you in advance to any useful answerers.
3 AnswersOther - Vietnam1 decade agoHitchiking from Fukuoka to Tokyo, then camping in Yoyogi park.. any experiences?
I like to have bizarre holidays, and am thinking in September of taking the ferry from Busan to Fukuoka then hitch hiking upto Tokyo (long way, but worth the experience) and camping in Yoyogi Park in Harajuku (been there last year, but not for the camping experience). Anybody have some similar stories they care to share?
I can speak enough Japanese to get by, and might have a camping buddy when I get there.
Interested more in the hitch hiking in Japan stories.
Cheers in advance*☆

Spill out all the gossip... good experiences, bad experiences.
3 AnswersOther - Society & Culture2 decades agoBest place to watch the World cup game 4am in Incheon?
Im flying out of Korea early -ish on Sunday morning, and want to watch the game first, so am thinking of going to Incheon city Saturday night with my friend, and neither of us have any clue about Incheon city.
Sure I could watch it at home, but im hoping someone out there knows of a good place, with great atmosphere!
1 AnswerKorea2 decades agoBest books to learn Korean?
Ok, I like to think of myself as a 'high beginner' 'low intermediate' korean speaker.
I have only ever 'self taught' myself... usual ways, watching movies, drama's, news... reading magazines and newspapers, making every effort to speak in Korean...
I know enough to get by, but I feel like I need something else!
The number of 'Learning Korean' books is overwhelming (im in Korea), and just wondering if there is any particular one that someone could suggest.
I have the Sogang university grammar book... and a few Hanja books.
Also thinking about studying in Korea, what schools do you recommend. Im living in Kang Dong Gu, does anyone know if the KonDae course is any good?
Is it relatively easy to apply for a student visa while in Korea? Im wanting to get a student visa, not just come and go every three months (I've been doing that for a year...)
If anyone is able to help me with my ridiculous request, message me your email address and I can keep in contact that way. Cheers
4 AnswersKorea2 decades agoGuest houses in Taipei?
Im heading to Taipei at the end of this month.
Wondering if anyone could recommend a guest house (preferably one they have been to, and not just a link from google/yahoo... I can do that myself).
I was going to stay with friends, but then my male friend said he would join me, so probably we are looking for a guesthouse without dorms.
Prices would be nice too, so I have something to work with.
Thankyou in advance! xx

2 AnswersCleaning & Laundry2 decades agoHow soon can I find out if im pregnant?
I was thinking that there is a possiblility I am, and then my friend asked me this morning if I am, because he had a strange dream, looked it up and apparently someone living around him will be pregnant. Also im a bit worried because I am supposed to be flying next month, but if im pregnant... arent there dangerous times when you shouldn't fly while pregnant?
Thankyou in advance for your help. I dont really want to alarm people (friends, and family) without needing to... hence the reason I am asking here.
