I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

If you just concentrate on activity around the belly this won't mean you will lose weight in that particular area. This is where you caryy body fat. So what you need to do is a total overhaul.
If you want to do this it is for life so you need to totally change your way of eating and exercising. This is not a diet rather than a healthy eating plan for life. So no more talking diet cause it means time limit.
Here are the golden rules:
Initially cut down to 1200 calories.
Exercise 6 times per week for 1 hours a day. Do three weight sessions and three cardio sessions. No gym involved.
Don't eat carbs after 4pm, never eat carbs within 2 hours of exercise or within 1 hour of exercise.
Drink 3 litres of water per day. You can have a green tea at the end of the day.
Limit your fruit in take to 2 pieces per day.
Never eat dinner after 6pm.
Adopt of low GI eating plan this is sustainable for life!
Make low fat dairy choices
Follow this menu plan as a suggestion:
Breakfast 7am - 1 cup hot water w lemon
20 minutes later have a bowel of oats w water (no honey) OR
fruit salad w low GI soy yogurt
Snack 10am - pear or apple (both low GI)
Lunch 12.30pm - muligrain sandwich w 50g tuna & salad (no butter)
Snack 3pm - low GI yogurt OR skim berry smoothie (no honey or banana) plenty of ice, 1/2 cup skim milk & 1/4 cup yogurt
Dinner 5.30pm - 120g grilled lean meat/fish/prawns/tofu patties (not fried) w spinach salad & mixed vegies (no whites, carbs) OR 3 egg white/soy omlette with ham, cheese and tomato
Snack - 1 scoop of low cal low fat ice cream (if hungry)
Exercise is must be intense. Refer to www.bodybuilding.com for your weights routine. Never do weights two consecutive days have a cardio day in between.
Cardio needs to include running, go hard up stair wells and cycling. You get the most benefits from exercise when your body is totally fatigued and this is when you see changes.
To maintain you can increase calories to 1500 and reduce exercise sessions to 3-4 times per week. If weight creeps up again due to holiday period etc.. go back to 1200 cal and 6 sessions again.
Good luck it worked for me it can work for anyone.

Welcome to the eating disorder frame of mind. I was your age and started out just like, that. HELLO, you've hit puberty. The weight is normal for you to gain at this time in your life. SCREW societies standards as to how you should look like and JUST ENJOY BEING 12.
I'm telling you, starting out this young and thinking about losing weight is NOT good. It will snowball and will get worse. Just eat healthy, don't over exercise like that. If you're doing all that weight training any way remember that muscle weighs more than fat.
Just please, dont get into that stuff, its not a good road to go down.

I don't think you should worry too much about loosing weight at this age, don't be misguided by the starved models you see in magazines, if however you do feel you need to loose some weight speak to your parents about it and tell them your concern, secondly i would suggest consulting a Dietitian and follow a healthy eating plan, DONT STARVE YOURSELF. Remember to always have fun and don't take things too seriously.

It’s Friday brunch time and you just can’t stop going back with regard to seconds. But hang on! Stop for a minute and suck on an extra strong mint. The flavour will put you off that next plate of chicken korma/roast beef/sushi medley.

Music allows you to eat more. According to research by the journal Psychology as well as Marketing, soft, classical tunes encourage that you take time over your meal, so you consume more foods. So, switch off – silence will make you more aware of what you’re adding your mouth.

Invest in smaller plates. Little crockery means portion control is really a lot easier – those diminutive helpings suddenly look huge and you’ll be happier to consume less.

If you're only 12 then your body is not finished growing and you're not fully developed. Stay active and forget about pounds. Your body will change naturally.
