What is entire sanctification and is it found in the Bible?
I have heard people at my church talk about entire sanctification. I think they mean it's like a second work of grace done by the Holy Spirit. I don't know of anywhere in the Bible that says after a person is saved that there is another work of grace. I have always been taught that when you are saved you are made whole. So, what entire sanctification mean?

One of the dictates of entire sanctification is that you can be sin-free via your pious works. According to 1 John, this makes God a liar...
"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make [God] a liar, and His word is not in us."
A quote from the given link above states, "The new birth deals with guilt caused by the acts of sin committed in the past."
This is not true. When we accept Christ as Savior, the individual is cleansed of ALL sin. The concept of entire santification is NOT biblical because it cheapens the finished work of Christ on the cross. 1 John 1 continues...
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us."

Don't you think it means that when we are completely sanctified, it's when we are like him? When Paul says we don't know what we are going to be but we know we will be like HIM!
