    U can do it in windows xp itself. Y to install another extra software to consume additional capacity of ur computer.

    pop up blocker or pop up swatter. try going to popupblocker.com or something. popupblocker has a lot of places to try but read them carefully to make sure they are free.

    If you use windwos just update it with sp2 and it will stop it.
