YES!!! I don't expect you to belive this but ...just try it.
Porrige oats - have something in them that helps the brain regulate moods.
So does a tablet called ST JOHNS WORT (always read the label)
Really good vitamin pills - help your brain to work better. If you dont get the right minerals, especially zinc, you don't feel ok. Modern food, even fresh fruit and veg are low in minerals because of how they are grown now. Parts of you can be starving to death (metaphorical) even though you eat fine, if the food is cheaply grown.
If you eat a food and feel lethargic, for various reasons, it could be bad for you. This makes life harder. Replace it with something else that does the same job. Read an easy book on food and mood - or look it up on the internet. Really interesting, really useful, really lifesaving. Big grins to you.

I've heard that St. John's Wort is good for depression. Chamoille or Lemon Balm tea are also very soothing. I personally have found that simply getting moving, doing something helps a lot and I've been dealing with chronic depression for 20 years. That sense of accomplishment can do a lot more for you than you would think. Good luck.

I agree with Pluto. bannanas are rich in vitamins to improve mood. Water is esential and makes you feel better.
If you dont want to try that, go to GNC and buy the herb " Saint Johns Wart" it helps for mild depression. The best treatment for depresion is rigourous exercice for 1 hr. (Cardiovascular) it is undoubtedly better than any of the above. Try it and you will see the difference. It improves circulation, Helps rid the body of toxins and makes you more mentally alert. Improves sex which subsequently improves mood as well.
Have a nice day:)

St. John's Positive Thoughts.
One tablet 3 times daily. For optimal absorption, take between meals or with a carbohydrate meal. One tablet can be taken before bedtime. For best results, use this product for at least 6 weeks, although benefits may be experienced sooner.

St. Johns Wort has a natural prozac like chemical in it. But you can't be sure about the quality or effectivness with herbals. I used it for awhile ..tended to give me headaches. Script drugs work better....trust me
