how do you mount the box for a ceiling fan if you hve a catedral ceiling?
it comes to a vee and i dont want to put it on the side only in the middle

You can easily add a small matching brace across the Vee. Then mount the boxx to that. You can case the box with the same material from which your ceiling is made.

This is simple enough. Cut a 2x4 brace to fit across the vee (will look like the cross bar in a capital "A"), mount the box to the brace, then install the brace to your rafters.

go to the manufactuer website if they have one, or call them, and somtimes if you can find someone in that section at your home depot or lowes, go get an extension rod and then you can mount it like a regular flat cieling fan. if you dont have the box already mouted to your trusses/rafters, it will be more difficult to get it in without to much drywall repair but it can be done, just cut a small section out on both sides and then just secure your box to the wood and repair the drywall then hang the fan

You will have to make a brack for the ceiling peak or buy a ceiling fan that is made to hang at an angel on the ceiling on either side of the peak.

remove the trim and cut a knotch out so it will flush. that's how I installed mine and it worked fine
