Has any one seen the original version of "The Omen"?

yea, rent it asap! lol i watched it once when it came on amc (or one of those old channels) it was pretty good. i was able to sleep, but trust me i wouldn't be caught watching it at night, alone in my bedroom..

Yep, I saw it. Scared the hell out of me. Best horror out there besides The Exorcist. They both give me nightmares to this day, and I watched them 3 years ago! But, "The Omen" is one of the best horror films ever made. I really hate horror movies, but this one like sucks you in. I have only watched it twice, and the second time I didn't want to. Rent it, if you want to be scared. Oh, and if you do, be sure that you don't get afraid of the #6.6.6 an a little kid named Damien!

Yep. I have an original copy of it. I saw it years ago when I was little. It depends how easy scared you are. The thing that gets me now though is all the weird stuff that happenend to the people involved in the making of it. My friends Rottie is (allegedly) related to the one in the film!

I saw it when I was a little girl too and your mom was right. It was very chilling. I could not watch it again, until I was an adult. I still found it disturbing. Many movies after that tried to copy it's sinister plot.

yeah i did...i was freaked of it. not like not sleepin for a week...just for a day or two...but its more scary in the sense that it could be real...but its creepy. i didnt want to watch 2, 3 n the rest cuz i was so scared. the new movie has the same story line, but i think there will be better sets n cinematography

It's my very favorite horror film. It scares me every time I watch it. Really well done with an excellent cast. I'm not going to see the new one; don't see how they could improve on it.

It is ok but by modern standard just creepy not sleep deprivingly scary.

Yes..one of my fave scary movies..I have seen it probably 40 times and each time I am scared ****less.

The little boy Damian really freaks me out....

yeah its a great movie but i dont think the remake will be up to much ..so i would suggest go and rent it.
