Your friend is half right, but she has her information horribly garbled.

Certainly Chinese people and Chinese culture occupied all those countries at some time or other and largely displaced the native people. For a good succinct treatment of this I suggest reading the chapter "How China Became Chinese" in "Guns, Germs & Steel" by J. Diamond.

But that does not make all those people Chinese. Ask your friend this question: since the British once occupied all of China and India and the French once occupied all of Viet Nam does that mean that Indians and Chinese are English and that Vietnamese are French?

Of course it doesn't. And just because Chinese people once occupied Vietnam and Korea that doesn't make those people Chinese.

For pity's sake there are people in Viet Nam who are Australoids and who speak Australoid languages. These people look and sound and are genetically most closely related to Australian Aborigines. Is your friend suggesting that these Australoid people with their Australoid languages are the same as the Chinese?

It would be fair to say that most Koreans and Japanese are descendants of people from mainland China. However evidence for a Qin occupation of Japan seems mysteriously lacking from the history books ;-)

It is reasonable to say that most Vietnamese have a smattering of CHinese ancestry dating form around the Qin expansion.

It is not reasonable to say that all those people are culturally, linguistically or genetically the same as the Chinese

Hi ya in answer 2 your q I'd have to say yes as most people from China migrated all over Asia and started over again so yes most of them are all descendants from China B.

A new theory say that entire Human kind come from China.

They certainly did. They and us came from Adam and Eve.
