why 06-06-06 ??

The number 666 is supposed to be the number of the antichrist. That in itself is not a good thing. I don't think it is bad luck, just like Friday the 13th is not bad luck.

No, I do not believe 06-06-06 brings bad luck, really!

Every month I wait and earnestly look for writing something like 01-01-2006, 02-02-2006, 03-03-2006, 04-04-2006, 05-05-2006 and now today 06-06-2006. So for me this is one of the rare opportunities I avail every month. The difference is in that of the Year. So, 06-06-06.

Now the whole point of my liking these first two 'Twins' is that I correspond with British as well as American companies or countries those follow these two. Sometimes these two makes some confusion in the mind of either of above system of date users. I can be rest assured that today (or similar date/months) this problem will not occur and both USA and British system users would be at par.

I researched, nothing horrible happened on 06-06-1906, 06-06-1806 or 06-06-1706....not much recorded history prior to that I could find...

In a way i worry about 6/6/06 cuz my 4 yr old son goes on a field trip that day

I would imagine that you are a smart girl with some education..Numbers and dates and the like do not in and of themselves have any power. It is people who give it the evil or good which create the end effect. You can't imagine how many people have avoid this date for travel, weddings and parties out of fear of dates........there is nothing on earth that can effect the way we feel.....its is entirely up to us how we interpreter the information....example: a mother is told she has 2 months to live because of cancer, yet she survives to she her children at Christmas time...it was her will to live not the drugs: which by the way kill everything but the cancer.......

I think it's a good number to buy lotery. But, then again if it brings bad luck, might not win it.
