Is it possible to have dual citizenship with America and Holland?

    Yes, I have it. I was born in Holland and my dad is from there, but my mom is American so I have American citizenship too.

    So, yes. Its possible.

    Under U.S. law, you can have dual citizenship, but it is generally discouraged. Dual citizenship can cause tax nightmares and present significant problems when traveling internationally.

    Only if you can get a 2 billion a year subsidy for being a disenfranchised dutch-american...you'd make a killing if you went into making ice cream, though...
