Would you rather stay and fight for the right or go off in the rapture?

The concept of the "rapture" is foreign to me. It isn't part of my religious doctrine.

As I understand it, it is when Jesus Christ will come and take all his believers away from all the tribulation brought about by Satan.

I think I would rather stay and fight for the cause of righteousness. I've never been one to run from a fight, spiritually speaking. Sometimes, I think, you've just got to stand and be counted among those who stand for something.

Yeah, I would choose to stay and join the battle. I wouldn't want one inch yielded to evil.

What do you think? What would you choose?

I have thought about that a lot, but it is not our choice whether we can stay or not, if you are a christian and alive and the rapture happens you have not choice but be raptured.. yes there will be people left behind, the people who hid behind Christianity and they will realize that they have not walked the walk with God and they will then hopefully be the ones to try and put people straight about what happened... there are a lot of my friends who are not Christians and I would like to stay behind and help them out but if you did not believe before then, will you believe after the rapture and when the anti Christ takes power?? Oh there will be peace so it will be hard to try and convince people otherwise, but God has it think it is 77000 saints that he will send to all parts of the earth to try and convert people... but when we are raptured and Jesus comes back to this earth, I would love to be one of those followers that follow him back that would be an amazing sight.

Well I don't think there is such thing as a rapture the scriptures that people use to prove rapture are the second coming of Christ...Christ was the example for us all and he wasn't raptured...and I don't believe we will be either...from the way the bible describes tribulation anyone would have to be really spiritual or crazy to choose to be tortured...but I am prepared to take it as it comes. my faith In god is strong.

It doesn't matter, you can't choose. The actual word "rapture" is not in the bible, maybe that is why you are unfamiliar with it. Believe me, you don't want to be left behind. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior, and repented of your sins, your job on earth is done. You get to go home!!

    I agree with you.

But I have to say, that I would like to be a believer, it's just that I would like to help out too.

I've always thought should be what you want most.

What I want most to continue living,. fighting for the cause of good, so could there really be a heaven and hell.

Will I retire, like and old man, to sitting at some heavenly couch eating heavenly foods and watching heavenly TV?

I know that couches and TV's may not be in heaven, but I don't like that type of idleness.

I'm sure that in our concept of heaven, you are always fit, but It wouldn't feel right to just be super fit with nothing to pay for it.

    I am a believer though.

As long as I can make a difference, I'll fight to Eternal damnation, if I can make other's lives better.

I want to be taken up in the (rapture) then live in suffering and trying times. I think everyone the believes in Jesus Christ is going to agree with me on this one.

Take me away when it's the end of the world as we know it, you really don't have a choice. You either go up or you stay for Armageddon or Judgment Day I don't exactly remember which order they all come in, and frankly I don't want to find out. If I am finding out I want sky box seats getting a bird's eye view of the carnage that's taking place.

You cant stay to fight, there will be nothing left, when Jesus comes back the world will be plunged in evil. After he comes there will be nothing to save.
