The Da Vinci Code?

Was the book exactly like movie? Because I saw the movie and it was pretty good for being FICTION...but is it worth reading the book now? If it's the same, I have no need to read it.

The book is uuaually always better than the movie. I think the Da Vinci Code movie was alright- the book contains so much material, it would be hard to squeeze as much as possible into a movie. But the book is definately a must read book.

Actually, I would read Angels and Demons (The first book starring Robert Langdon), then read the Da Vinci Code. The movie did leave some things out, but it moved so quickly and it was so wordy that reading the book will help clear up somethings that you might have missed.

I liked the movie too. The book was better and had a lot more detail than the show. The movie took it's artistic license and changed a few things. I'd say, go ahead and read the book and enjoy them both.

I thought they stayed really true to the book. They left a couple of parts out. They also left a part out of the ending that I thought was really important. I guess they didn't think so because its not in the movie. but anyway.. yeah i thought the book was better.
