Whom would you take with u?

We had this poem in college..it was composed during the second world war..a radio announcement is aired cautioning the people about a bomb attack..the announcer asks people to take shelter in the bunks in the basement of their houses..he also asks people not to take their pets and old people in the bunk as the oxygen will be wasted..I agree it is a very cruel announcement to make...

In this situation if u have a chance of taking only one person or a pet or a thing with u..what would that be?

    I would send my wife and daughter in and I would stay out.

    i will take any living thing with myself whether it is a pet or a old human being becoz after all we all r human beings
