pioneer speaker rattle?
i just installed two 4x6 pioneer speakers... i am getting alot of rattle, everything seams tight and it isnot my pannels.. they are ts-g4641r model number.. i think it may be due to two wires that stick out of the woofer cone.. they are vibrating alot but i dont know if it is hitting the cone or not.. does anyone know anything about this?
alright it looks like there as a bad screw hole.. reinstalled the two speakers and now things seam to be fine.. i did have to turn the bass down.. its not the speakers just my truck being a peice.. these pioneer speakers sound great.

turn the bass all the way down on the head unit and maybe the mids too? let your subwoofer take care of the lows if you have an amp
Source(s): had the same problem and did alot of research if you have any more details list them and i will try to help - 2 decades ago
at the back of the magnet there is a normally a sticker, make hole and you,ll find a screw, make sure its tight. keep your other hand on the tweeters at the oppesite side in the middle of the big cone, otherwise they will turn with the screw and brake the wires you where talking about. g-luck. if tht doesnt work box them.

make sure nothing is wrapping around the cone, maybe something shaking inside the box.
