    Reminds me of the old phrase: Guns don't kill people, bullets kill people. Well, implanted chips don't violate civil liberties, ....

    As with just about any technology, it is a great idea until it is abused. And the potential for abuse is unending. That being said, if someone had to choose between being locked up for no valid reason, and being implanted with a chip that monitors their every movement for no valid reason..... Big Brother is here and he's brought some friends.

    needs more advancement but getting close for special operations troops. can you imagine a troop getting lost or captured, all you have to do is ping his chip over the sat & know where he is & that he's alive. Got all the personal records & medical info on a chip in the new mil IDs, nice to add that in too. YES I'm concerned this is the slow progression to evil, but who knows.

    For business, if they give you a choice that's fine. I'd opt for the chip, but as long as it's a choice.
