Is it normal to bleed after having sex?
Im pregnant. Me and boyfriend had sex last night and i bled right afterwords. We have never had this happen before and have never had any problems. It wasn't heavy but there was some type of flow. Then it turned into spotting about 30 minutes later. Today i'm still spotting very lightly. Is this normal? Could there be a problem?
Im about 5 weeks pregnant. I havent had any cramps with the spotting (light pinkish).

When you're pregnant, your cervix changes. A LOT more bloodflow is sent to the cervix (not sure why it happens, but it's hormonal). It is common to bleed after sex while you're pregnant, or during a vaginal exam (when your doctor checks to see if you're dilated). You never said how far long you are. I wouldn't worry about it unless the blood flow is bright red, picks up, and you have painful cramping. Still, it never hurts to play it safe and give your OB a quick phone call.

You should go to the doctor because if u were pregnant than bleed afterward than something is really wrong with u or the baby. It could be bad u may ha a miscarriage. But it may be fine but you still should go to the doctor,

Even a little bleeding can signal a problem. Call your OBGYN immediately, or go to the local hospital. They will probably due an ultrasound to check the placenta and the baby's size/heartrate. Don't wait, call now.

It's not normal. I just went through the same thing. You should see a doctor ASAP, go right now!

No, it's not normal. In fact, if your husband is too vigiorious, it could be harmful to the baby. See your doctor asap.
