Anyone know how to sell a '96 Impala overseas?

We want to sell our 1996 Impala with less than 13k miles on it. We heard if you sell the car outside of US, you can sell it for more money. Does anyone know how to advertise the car for sale? It is a perfect car for a car collector! Car is very clean and beautiful!

Update:

1996 Impala SS with 13k original miles, leather interior, Black Cherry , CD player, Extremely Clean condition... selling for $23k OBO, for more info & pics, email sergio90222@yahoo.com

The overseas market for Impalas died around 2000. The overseas demand was driven mostly by the market in Japan where they still have a fascination with American culture and cars. Unfortunately, Japan has seen an economic downturn the last 10 years or so, and this segment of the market has mostly dried up. The export procedures to Japan and other foreign markets is a mess. Between shipping, figuring out duties and tarrifs, finding a reliable buyer etc. I don't think it will be worth your time. If you are not looking for over $20k-$25k, I think you should be able to find a domestic buyer for your Impala SS. The low miles will make it more appealing to any buyer, and you can always test the waters on ebay for more money. Check autotrader.com, there are quite a few for over $25k on there that have more than the mileage on yours and see if it's worth advertising yours there. Good luck.
