ok i think i broke my ipod what should i do ?
all it says "do not disconnet"
but its not connected to anything
i cant return it so i cant do that (too late)

the problem is i cant go to stores because i dont drive
and i got the ipod as a b-day gift and promised to take very goood care of it
please i cant replace it cause im broke at the moment

Have you tried to reconnect it and then disconnect it the right way? It also makes a difference if your iTunes is on a Windows PC or a Mac.

Try plugging it back into your computer...From there, you should have some control over it.
From within iTunes, turn it off or disconnect it...Or, on your computer, stop that device thru the "safely remove hardware" option.

hold the middle button and the menu button at the same until it shuts off. if that dosent work than it sounds like u need a new ipod

Go on apple.com and they usally ahve a FAQ for the problems that happen with your ipods.

see if there is a 1800 number you can call
if not go to the place that you bot it and the should be able to tell you what to from there

well thatsucks i say u take it back to the store u bought it and ask if they knowwhat is wrong withit or take it to like a best buy or radio shak

Let the battery COMPLETELY die down
and then keep working with it after that.
Happened to everyone I know with one
(my daughter included). Remember:
COMPLETELY die down. It will
reset everything but you won't loose
your music.
