Do you think medical marijuana should be legal? Is medical marijuana legal in Asian countries like Malaysia?
This is Calvin. I think the medical marijuana is to be legal b/c medical patients may need to alleviate severe disorders and pain and even to stay alive. Do you think that medical marijuana should remain legal? I think it should.
Please answer the following questions:
I know that the asian country Malaysia is extremely strict w/ marijuana. I heard that possession of 1 ounce of marijuana can mean a punishment for life sentence. Does the country Malaysia allow medical marijuana use for patients in serious need?
How about medical use in Singapore?
And in China?
And in Philippines?
And any other asian countries?
But I know that in U.S., 10 states allow medical use by state law. However, federal law prohibits medical use.
Please tell me your opinion and tell me if these asian countries (listed above) allow it.

None of those asian countries listed have medical marijuana prgrams and all are VERY strict on even possesion of small quantities. I think medical marijuana is a good idea but seems impossible to regulate with many people just paying a doctor a few hundred bucks to get a cannabis club card, sick or not. So i think they should just go ahead and legalize it already, its practically decriminalized already here in california (if you get caught with under an ounce, its like an 80 dollar ticket with no arrest or jail.) Im counting on you arnold to get it done!

Depends on the use. I tried it for pain and it did no good at all. I just got stoned. My pain killers didn't work. The only thing that really helped was herbal remedies.

laws are voted on. people that vote make the decision. on Yahoo Answers-debating whether marijuana should be legal or illegal seems redundant.

You're asking my opinon? No, it shouldn't. But it is legal in certain cities of California, but not in California. I know, it's confusing. The people of those cities agree that it is.
