Because psychics have as much merit as organized religion.

Why would a mathematician be likely to win the lottery. Why would he even play? There is no mathematical way to predict lottery numbers. Anyone who understands the infinitesimal odds of winning probably wouldn't bother anyway.

Because psychics have a gift to help others not cash in on it. How come these questions are recycled? Thats the third time this ones been asked.
