my hair is brown will the lemon juice thing work on my hair ?

for hair lightening I used this product called Sun-In that works with lemon juice and it turned my hair brown ( my hair was VERY black) you use it until you get the color like, it works with the sun... so i guess give it a try... you can buy it at any drugstore

It might make a slight change to your brown hair, but most likely what will happen is you will have to soak ypur hair in lemon juice often to get results and lemon juice drys the hair out..

So In all honesty I would not do it..

Way back when in the late 70's we used to use this stuff called: Sun In, and what it was was virtually water and peroxide mixed in bottle. Use the peroxide sparingly but if you do this, it will lighten tremendously! Be careful not to use too much or the roots later will be very stark. You don't want that unless you plan to touch up at a salon later on. Good luck!

Try balsamic or red wine vinegar. Just rub in after shampoo, leave in for 10 minutes and rinse, it doesn't give you big highlights, but it does boost shine and lighten hair. Just make sure to do is often.

If your hair is light enough it possibly could lighten it. But dont expect bleach blond highlights!

Depending on how dark brown your hair is, it will turn it orange.
