Can you see the Rocky Mountains from Denver, Colorado?

I may be moving to Colorado when I graduate, and Denver looks like my best bet for work and a relatively inexpensive apartment. However, one of my reasons for wanting to live in Colorado in the first place is because I'd love a view of the mountains - I've had a love for it since I went to Boulder for a visit a few years back. I can't afford to live in Boulder, though, so I'm hoping Denver has a decent view as well...anyone know?

Yes, you can when there isn't much smog. The pollution in Denver is intense. I live ON the Rocky Mountains (not far from Aspen) where the air is still clear, the sky an awesome blue.

    yeah you can see em

Denver is very affordable, as well as the many citys around it. If you liked Boulder, Go somewhere between the two. Thornton, Arvada, Westminster, Broomfield, Northglenn, Superior. From those places it only takes 15-30 mins to get to either place.

Good luck on your move to Denver, me I'm going further north of Denver, Loveland or Ft Collins.

yes, you can see them. Most of the cities on the west side have a little bit better view though. Although I have been all around Denver and you can definitely see them from anywhere, especially on a clear day.

Yes, you can see the Rockies from Denver. When I learned how to drive, I could always tell which direction was west...as west it where the Mountains are! Almost anywhere if the sky isn't cloudy or smoggy..you can see the mountains if you look to the west.
